About Us

This blog complements our two best-selling college textbooks, Diversity Amid Globalization: World Regions, Environment, Development, 6e and Globalization and Diversity: Geography of a Changing World 5e by providing updates and commentary on global current events, reports of our fieldwork, musings on environmental matters, digital field trips, as well as miscellaneous resources we’ve found useful for learning about our rapidly changing globalized world.

The four authors of these two textbooks are Les Rowntree, Research Associate, University of California, Berkeley; Martin Lewis, Senior Lecturer, Stanford University; Marie Price, Professor, George Washington University; and William Wyckoff, Professor, Montana State University. Watch video here (click on book cover photo) about William Wyckoff’s recent book How to Read the American West: A Field Guide. More info about each author is provided on our individual websites (double-click on author’s name)
